Stonechat - Saxicola rubicola

 Great the Stonechat, this one I took the photographs just 100 meters from my house. Lovely.

  4. Hello Bob!:=) The Stonechat is a lovely little bird, I used to see many of them in the Algarve, but none where I live in the north of Portugal. How wonderful that you saw this one so near your home,..they are all great captures.

  19. Delightful images of what is one of my favourite small birds, Bob. You are so lucky, finding this close to your home.

    Thank you also for the Buddy Guy clip - one of my favourite bluesmen! I remember I once had an LP (Hoodoo Man Blues) where Buddy Guy was listed on it as 'Friendly Chap' - presumably for contractual reasons?

  27. Bob - glorious! The delicate coloring of the feathers is amazing. I liked how you can distinguish individual feathers. The light is also terrific in these shots. Superb!
