Hi Bob, Super set of images of the Black Headed Gull, a bird I have not seen since Lockdown, hope fully will not be long until I see onr=e. Stay safe, All my best wishes, John
In breeding plumage it is a stunning bird, but I think we need a parliamentary committee to investigate why it should not be renamed Brown-headed Gull!
I'm with David on this one, Bob. This very handsome bird (when in summer plumage) should be re-named Brown-headed - or maybe named 'smudge' when in winter plumage! ;-} Please don't be too tempted by Boris's invitation to get out more - we need to stay safe! Take great care - - - Richard
Beautiful
