Nuthatch - Sitta europaea

  21. Hi Bob. These are wonderful images of the Nuthatch. I guess that there are some tasty morsels hidden in the trunk of that tree?! I've been trying to photograph s Nuthatch that's been visiting our garden for a couple of weeks, but so far not much luck!

  23. ha...that may be the bird that has been visiting our feeders the last couple of weeks...though their plumage is much less colorful...the male loves to fight himself in the window.
