  12. I was just looking through an old photo album of photos I took when I went to Alaska years ago to see if I had any good photos of the Golden Eagle...I don't! How wonderful to see these in your post today! What a magnificent bird!

  13. Super shots by Calum there, Bob. The only way that most of us will ever see a Golden Eagle close up is one that's in a falconry centre or zoo, but they are still a fabulously magnificent bird when in 'captivity'. My very best wishes - - - Richard

  19. A great set of photos and what a bird. I may be mistaken but this bird does not feel like a Golden Eagle to me. May be a trick of the light but thought I would air my view.
