I went to the Forest of Dean, it was a sunny day. But, I went to Parkend Church to catch a glimmer of the Crossbill male, but it was packed full of birders, so I to the pub for a pint of Bob, ah, that was really NICE.
Photographed at Stone Works, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, GB.
The European Robin is one of my favourite birds. Little, pretty, that spot of red--I love the images you took! You are a genius photographer who brightens everyone's day with your extraordinary creative work.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most beautiful little bird in the world.
ReplyDeleteHi Bob,
ReplyDeleteGlad to read you had a visit out and like me do not enjoy these visits when over crowded with birders.
I think you made the correct decision and went to the pub, wonderful idea.
Wonderful set of images of the dear Robin.
All the best, John
Yes John, I did the right thing, going to the pub. Later I went there, no birds, but, I was in the funeral.
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I love that little bird.
ReplyDeleteCheers Matti, it is a little bird.
DeleteGreat images,all of them Bob
ReplyDeleteNow there's a choice, beer or a crossbill. After a couple of beers you might feel you had a crossed bill!
ReplyDeleteVery funny David, but I only had 1 pint, not enough to get little drunk.
DeleteGlorious bird - and hooray for a trip to the pub. Funeral? I am sorry.
