Eurasian Coot - Fulica atra

I'm going to see what it's like at the Forest of Dean, if it not raining, it seems I haven't been there for a long long time. Well, I think so, ha ha ha.

Photographed 2018 squabbling over food.

  6. Hi Bob,
Glad to see you are feeling up to going out in the Forest of Dean, so the cold is going away.
Super images of the dear Coot, they always appear to be squabbling over something. It won't be that long before they start building nests.
    All the best, John

  20. Hi Bob. I hope your visit to the Forest of Dean went well - it's good to hear that you are feeling well enough to get out again. Delightful images of the Coots. Those birds almost look amorous, rather than aggressive!

Take good care. Best wishes - - - Richard
