A beautiful bird. He lives close to me and often visits the surroundings of our house. He hunts on the phone. I once saw his attack on a single starling. He could not do it. The starling ran away.
Hi Bob, Wonderful to see the images of the Buzzard, a bird I enjoy getting images from. Appears to be a very dark bird but they do vary so much in the colouration. I find very often the second you stop the car they are away, or as soon as you pick the camera up likewise. All the best, John
Hi John It was getting late, that's why it looks dark. Yes, I have been driving a back from the Forest of Dean, when suddenly I spotted it field, I stopped the car. So it flew up into the trees. I was lucky.
I was wondering about this until I read some of the comments. It doesn't look like the buzzards we see here...they are very ugly. This bird is beautiful! What great pics! My hubby and I both enjoyed them!
Dramatic and lovely.
ReplyDeleteEC, I love your saying, thanks.
DeleteHello, Bob, The common Buzzard is a handsome bird. Great photos. Enjoy your day!
