Stonehenge Winter Solstice 2018

There were about 5000 people gather the shortest day in the year.

  1. I would have enjoyed being there. I am not metaphysical in any way, but there would be something significant about being there on the Solstice.

  2. Does something visible happen at Stonehenge during this time? I mean like shadows and sunlight. I've heard an idea that it's a giant clock.

  20. We took part in the Winter Solstice celebration at Mission San Juan Bautista. The friars had situated the church so that the first morning light walks up the aisle to the altar on the solstice. The morning was heavy with fog but the sun found its way in. Peace, love, and joy of the holiday season to you. :-)
