  2. I miss seagulls around these landlocked areas of the Rhine. Sometimes we see a gull or two, but mostly other wildlife. Thank you for showing these beautiful images, Bob!

  3. They look so attractive in non breeding plumage, resembling ever so vaguely a Bar-headed Goose.

    Super set of images of the Black headed gull in its Winter plumage.
    They are so much easier to spot in the Summer months.
