Fieldfare - Turdus pilaris

Photographed at Beachley, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, UK. It was a long way off, 500mm with an extender  1x4, it couldn't get it, maybe they come closer.

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.ukThere is a photo of a Australasian Shoveler. And a  Cormorant by Callum in  the 'Guest photographer.

The last one is a Mistle Thrush.......................Thanks Marc.

  1. A very hard bird to get near to photograph Bob. You have done well here to capture the colours and detail well. Your last photo however, is a Mistle Thrush.

  6. Hi Bob,
I have not seen these birds in the numbers I have in previous years, have seen more Redwings.
You did extremely well to get these images at the distance.
    All the best, John

  19. Su librea se camufla perfectamente con el terreno, pese a ello has conseguido mostrarlo con todo detalle.
