Black-tailed Godwit - Limosa limosa

Photographed at Llanelli, Wales, UK. It was a long way away and a dismal day, but I had to show you. There were about 350 asleep.

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.ukThere is a photo of a Common Tealand  the Rabbit by Callum in  the 'Guest photographer'

  1. Hi Bob,
this is another of your wow sets of images, super images on such a dismal day and in such numbers. We tend to get the odd bird, not 350.
    All the best, John

    1. Hi John, I'd only seen anything as big number, I was astonished at least 350.

  3. Well I think you did so well.
The pictures look good for such a dismal day and the sheer number of birds is just fantastic.

    All the best Jan

  9. OOOHHH There's a lot of them! It's almost unbelievable.
This species is not seen in such large numbers in my area. They're looking for quiet areas to take shelter.
    Good week Bob.
