Black-headed Gull - Chroicocephalus ridibundus

Photographed at the Industrial Site, Harbour Road, Lydney, Gloucestershire.

  13. They can be noisy devels at a nesting coloney, but credit where credit is due they are a really smart bird, well photographed Bob.

Hi Bob, again another set of great images of this delightful gull.Last Thursday prior to going on duty, I spent about half an hour in Shallow Water hide with John Wright, the Field Officer at Rutland Water. He was counting and logging gulls and told me we had Black Headed gulls from 11 countries to the front of the hide and I was not going to argue with him. Great post, all the best. John
