Wood Duck in eclipse plumage.

  5. Waterfowl the world over are spectacular, but few more so than a Wood Duck. This species breeds not more than five minutes from my house. How lucky is that?

    What lovely portraits of this gorgeous duck!
    We see it most of the time with its breeding plumage but seldom in its intermedaite plumage, very interesting!
