Goosander (female) - Mergus merganser

This one was photographed in Cannop Ponds, Forest of Dean, Glos, UK.

Please can you sign this petition to stop the proposed M4 over the Gwent Levels. I feel strongly about this because it is a place I visit a lot. The damage to the Gwent Levels along with Magor Marsh and the Newport Wetlands will be irreparable!

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of a Garganey,  and  the Greylag Goose by Callum in the 'Guest photographer'

  16. Wonderful captures of this beautiful bird, Bob. I always think that Mergansers (particularly the females) look as if they have been stretched!

John tells me that you are heading up our way soon. I hope that I get to meet you.
