Stock Dove - Columba oenas

Never think that this is a Wood Pigeon, feral pigeon/Rock Dove. It is a Stock Dove.

Please can you sign this petition to stop the proposed M4 over the Gwent Levels. I feel strongly about this because it is a place I visit a lot. The damage to the Gwent Levels along with Magor Marsh and the Newport Wetlands will be irreparable!

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of an Starling,  and  the Mandarin Duck by Callum in the 'Guest Photos

  6. Interesting--- It looks like one of our doves wearing a pigeon suit. If that makes any sense. But when did I ever make sense.....

  10. Lovely pictures! It would be nice to see the stock dove. I thought the autumn that the stock dove is the yard, but it was a young wood pigeon which lacked the white ring from the neck. Its wing was also a white stripe. Greetings

  11. With those big eyes they look so sweet. But even the woodpeckers stay away from them on my feeder.
