Lapwing - Vanellus vanellus

  5. Hi Bob, super set of images of to me a really beautiful bird. We at the moment seem to be blessed with large numbers at Rutland but this does not detract from the bird, the sheen to the back makes them stand out. Cracking set of images. All the best John

    Wonder what kind of color effect I see on the wings: is it more like touch of the rainbow or just a drop of petrol, hmm ;)
