  3. Is it just me, or does it seem rude to tag any creature as 'common'?

  4. You're right of course Bob. The amswer is "money" as always - big money in providing shooting days. £500 a day around here for winter "sport".

  6. They are charming birds. And shooting is a very one-sided 'sport'. Sigh.

    1. Hunting of animals, birds and other species is awful, and must be stopped Sandi.

  10. Hey Bob! Nice to see pheasant photograph. Pheasants are some great birds, but their sound is not anything beautiful. In particular, if they shout in the early morning under the window. With us they disappeared a few years ago. Trap people ate pheasants or a beast. But the pheasants no longer here. Greetings.

  18. Curiosamente esta misma tarde, hace apenas dos horas, estuve observando dos parejas de faisanes. Son aves muy atractivas.
