Hello, Bob! I am against the hunting too. Your hen is pretty. Wonderful collection of photos. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Hey Bob! Nice to see pheasant photograph. Pheasants are some great birds, but their sound is not anything beautiful. In particular, if they shout in the early morning under the window. With us they disappeared a few years ago. Trap people ate pheasants or a beast. But the pheasants no longer here. Greetings.

ReplyDeletegorgeous plumage. i'd love to have some around here. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does it seem rude to tag any creature as 'common'?
ReplyDeleteNo blame to you R Mac.
DeleteYou're right of course Bob. The amswer is "money" as always - big money in providing shooting days. £500 a day around here for winter "sport".
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post images as always. Also, I just love your header. What a little sweetie.
ReplyDeleteThey are charming birds. And shooting is a very one-sided 'sport'. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteBob, excellent shots! I don't know why either! I guess it's the caveman coming out in them!
ReplyDeleteIt is strange that they are hunted.
ReplyDeleteHunting of animals, birds and other species is awful, and must be stopped Sandi.
DeleteBut you "shoot" them gently.
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful markings when you really look at them. Captured well in your excellent photos.

Hello. True amazing photos. We have been completely lost pheasants. Before our yard there were many. Now is not seen in a long time.

Hi. I hope I see more pheasants and I would get photographed. Great photos you have taken.
ReplyDeleteCuriosamente esta misma tarde, hace apenas dos horas, estuve observando dos parejas de faisanes. Son aves muy atractivas.

ReplyDeleteMany have beaten me to the punch, but she looks to be quite annoyed by the term, "common". Wonderful shots, as always.
