I always have a soft spot in my heart for gregarious seagulls, perhaps because I grew up with some kind of seagulls in Nevada that were always at the large lake nearby or in town. Beautiful photos.
Oh Bob, I love Ten Years After! One of my top 5 bands of all time <3 I saw Alvin Lee live. He was very good live and his support was Edgar Winter! Great show. I also saw Ten Years After...though going as Ten Years Later - they were good but their then singer at the time Joe Gooch wasn't a patch on Lee. I met the band after the gig and they were so nice, Leo Lyons in particular was really, really nice :-D Love Like A Man is one of their best songs, in fact the whole of Cricklewood Green is wonderful and Rock & Roll Music to the World is probably my favourite album of theirs and in my top 5 for sure!
Beautiful photos of the gulls. My grand-daughter has always called them the Sqwarky beach birds. The ones your brother found don't appear to be making any noise.
A taste of home for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you - and Pete.
Pete's done a great job in capturing those Silver Gulls, Bob. They are very handsome birds. Best wishes to you and yours - - - Richard
