  12. The males are so incredibly beautiful, I expect the females must have a severe inferiority complex--- Just kidding, of course. She's beautiful too--just not as colorful. Here eyes are very similar to those of a female wood duck.

  25. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, Bob - What the male Mandarin has in flashy spectacular plumage, the female Manadarin makes up for with her serene beauty - as superbly shown in your great images. Best wishes - stay safe - - - Richard
