Great captures of the Geese and ducks. I like the reflections! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend! you for the comment and visit.
That duck, I commented about in your last post that had passed. Someone saved him and took him to the vet. Was so happy about that as I was so sure he had passed. He is doing well and someone is gonna adopt him. <3
Standing on the ice...oh my! That looks frigid. We're having some cold weather here in FL but at least we don't see ice! It's not THAT cold! lol Happy weekend!
Hello Bob, Super photos of the Greylag Goose,..it's the one I see most often in Portugal, but I have never seen their teeth before!:=) Have a good weekend.
I posted some geese on ice today. Also our local flock of white geese includes a greylag and a muscovey duck! They treat the duck like their ugly cousin but the grey goose is a leader and protector of the others.
The goose is certainly wide awake! Not so, the mallards. Great pictures, as always. Think positive thoughts about us as we face the inauguration next week with 25 thousand National Guard troops in the Capitol.
I particularly like that first shot, Bob - lovely light, a super pose by the goose, and those wonderful neck feathers that I love on Greylags! The only ice we have here now is ice-olation! Stay safe - - - Richard
