    I've seen a Red-legged patridge the Netherlands once! ( of course that was an escape)

    1. Thanks Maria, they were original from France, Iberia and northwest Italy, they were introduced in Britain, and they are everywhere.

  13. What an amazing bird to have visit your garden, Bob, and you were there to record it with your camera! It's a sobering fact that Red-legged Partridge are only there because some barbaric people think it's fun to kill them. My breakfast was interrupted again today by the sound of gunfire - I hate it!
