    Super set of images of the Grey Heron, we have a reasonable number of these at Rutland that occasionally take a Water Vole to the front of the Osprey Hide and they will also give the Osprey a rough time.

  9. Perhaps my most favourite bird, aside from the Robin. I've held one in my arms, injured from a storm wind, and felt how wild and beautiful they are. Your images are majestic, Bob.

  14. You have succeeded in photographing the blue heron in a very beautiful background.
    The budding flowers in the grass give the photo that little bit more :-)
