    They always sit so low in the water you are almost waiting for them to sink.
    Not an easy bird to get decent images from.

  18. I find it easy to imagine these birds being around at the same time as dinosaurs, Bob. They have that prehistoric look about them! My favourite is that last image. Best wishes - - Richard
