    Stunning images! Beautifully with the water bubbles. The young common Shelduck is so funny in eclipse state;-)
    So different from the adults.

  16. The shelduck is beautiful even in eclipse (molting?) stage. In the comment above, Simon means that the duck looks like he is rinsing out his mouth and throat with a swallow of water (as people do when they have a sore throat for instance). Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful images!!!!
