Kestrel - Falco tinnunculus

Photographed at New Passage, Aust, South Gloustershire, UK. I shots this one a long way off, therefore a lot of cutting. Sorry.

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.ukThere is a photo of a Fieldfare. And a  Cormorant by Callum in  the 'Guest photographer.

  1. These shots, taken at a distance, work extremely well, Bob. The depth and range of colour in the background is great, and seeing the bird in its natural environment is a real treat to the eye. I love this set! With my best wishes - - - Richard

  19. What do you apologize for? Fascinating bird! I love the quote, too.

  20. He's very sweet -- and you know you are apologizing for pictures that I would be thrilled to have taken. You are too hard on yourself!!! They are beautiful. You pick the best and most inspiring quotes too .... I always mean to come back and listen to the music, but usually forget. We live in a very small space here in Florida and I don't have earphones for my laptop, so it isn't always a good time to play music!
