Photographed at Beachley, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, UK. It was a long way off, 500mm with an extender 1x4, it couldn't get it, maybe they come closer.

A very hard bird to get near to photograph Bob. You have done well here to capture the colours and detail well. Your last photo however, is a Mistle Thrush.

I read an ancient text recently where what is now called an American Robin was referred to as a Carolina Fieldfare.
