Hi Bob, Another set of wonderful images this time of the Lapwing, they are such a beautiful bird, with all the colours and sheen on the wings. All the best, John
I've seen blogs on lapwings before but did not realize they had such brilliant coloring! What an amazing bird. So unique. Although we don't have them here in the States and so I've never seen one in real life, I am pretty sure I'd recognize them right away if I were ever lucky enough to go birding in your country.
I love the way that you have captured the colours in the sheen on the birds wing, Bob. You must have had a lucky day with some sunshine! With my very best wishes - - - Richard
