  16. Hi, Bob! Haven't you ruined their lunch by that intense watching? I dropped in to have a look at my favourite ducks actually. Geese are graceful and ducks are so nice abd homey!

    I never met this species, I wonder what its area of origin is...

    1. They come from the Bering Sea, mostly in Alaska, United States, but also in Kamchatka, Russia. Thanks Noushka.

  20. I love the black and white heads on these geese, Bob, but it is the feather edges, which your images show so perfectly, that I find amazing! The colouring of the edges gives a 3-D effect to the plumage.
