Richardson's Canada Goose - Branta hutchinsii hutchinsii

Richardson's Canada Goose is the smaller and the short neck of the Canada Goose.

Please can you sign this petition to stop the proposed M4 over the Gwent Levels. I feel strongly about this because it is a place I visit a lot. The damage to the Gwent Levels along with Magor Marsh and the Newport Wetlands will be irreparable!

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of a Common Sandpiper,  and  the Mute Swan by Dave Key in the 'Guest photographer'

This pie was created by my son, Callum, filled with, guiness, quorn meat balls, onions, potatoes, mushrooms,  sage and thyme, Yummy.

  3. I'd never be able to tell the difference with a standard canda goose. I'll just eat the pie.

  4. I wish I had some of that RIGHT NOW! Speaking of Canada Geese---- Just came home from the store and there was a HUGE bunch of them grazing in a pasture about a half mile from our house.

  5. Hi Bob, and you are not playing fair, the pie detracts from the goose, well done Callum. This is not a bird I have knowingly seen. As usual super images especially of the pie!!!. All the best, John

  14. My first experience with a Canadian...this Southerner was on a business trip in Chicago...out for a jog I thought the geese would get out of my way. I ended up running really fast FROM them.

  26. Ok yeah the Canada goose is handsome and the photos are great and all that , but the important thing is could we have some of that pie? It looks amazing.... (we are sort of slowly evolving toward vegetarian, plus fish, whatever the word for that is....).
