Gadwall - Anas strepera

Photographed at Robbie Garnett Hide, Slimbridge, Glos, UK.

Please can you sign this petition to stop the proposed M4 over the Gwent Levels. I feel strongly about this because it is a place I visit a lot. The damage to the Gwent Levels along with Magor Marsh and the Newport Wetlands will be irreparable!

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. There is a photo of a Black-winged Stilt,  and  the  Lesser Whistling Duck by Callum in the 'Guest photographer'

  1. Nice shots Bob, I think the drake as regars looks may be a little underestimated, but I think they are quietly atractive.
    All the best Gordon.

  22. Hi Bob, great photos of this Gadwall! A male Gadwall was the first bird I saw in my telescope, years ago! I came in another world. So I have a special relationship with the Gadwall. I enjoy your images!
