Hooded Merganser female (Lophodytes cucullatus)

Again, the beautiful Hooded Merganser, ain't she so pretty.

Please look at my website bobswildlife.co.uk. I have a new links page on my website, if you want me to add your blog or website, please contact me.  We are still working on the site, with many new galleries to come over the next few weeks. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

  4. The very earliest versions of Daffy Duck seemed to look like a Merganser, but he was only in black and white. Great pictures!

  23. Incredible creature! With a wise gaze as if she knows all about you.
As a novice in your blog can I ask? Why birds? Why not insects, e.g.? I myself love birds more than any living creatures, and of all birds ducks and ducklings. They are not as graceful as swans but they are so sweet!
If you visit my blog, there’s Google translate option. Have a prolific week, Bob!
