Great Spotted Woodpecker juvenile (Dendrocopos major)
Please look at my new websitebobswildlife.co.uk, We are still working on the site, with many new galleries to come over the next few weeks. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Another juvenile.........................to tantalize you.
Delightful images, Bob. Was this bird in your garden? We've had a juvenile GSW in the garden for the past few days. This afternoon it must have spent half an hour playing with a green acorn still in its cup! He kept hiding it in cracks in the tree and then going to retrieve it again, tossing it about and fetching it.
Lovely shots of the woodpecker Bob. Now I did lok at your new web site and one think that I will comment one is that when you scroll down and the writting goes behind the lovely Kingfisher, it is then too difficult to read.
Good morning Bob!:) Super shots of this Woodpecker. We see them in our garden too, but they are often too timid to be photographed, and fly off in a flash of red white and black if they see any movement. Your new sight seems to be coming along just fine.:)
A great series Bob.
