Common Seal (Phoca vitulina)

This one was in the River Wye, but it was a bad light.

  9. I know the seals from the German North Sea coast as well - every now and then I see common seals and grey seals on the sandbanks there.

  12. I am listening to Jess Stone as I write this comment. I love seals.. okay, it's hard to find a critter I don't like :) But, water mammals are special.. no matter the light. Wonderfully expressive voice and great musicians behind her too. Your blog is a treat to visit. Thank you!
