Common Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)

Where I live there are a lots and lots of Pheasants, which I am not surprised that its shooting time, a hobby for those who have tiny minds.
And, it is still raining.

    I always wonder how someone can have a thrill at killing beautiful birds like this one...

  5. They're beautiful birds Bob. It must be true what they say about pheasants being daft...he should be keeping his head down at this time of year, not posing for photos!...[;o)

  20. Living in a rural area, we see lots of pheasants too. Beautiful colourful birds. And the tiny-minded people who shoot them are nothing short of bastards. And that's an insults to bastards. You get my drift. Sorry for the language, Bob

  28. The pheasants have such colorful and vibrant feathers.
    If the hunt is for survival and within limit, then I am ok with it, but if the hunt is for pure fun or sport, then it is a horrible thing.
