Lesser Black-back Gull [Larus fuscus]

  1. They are a good looking bird but not as sociable as the Greater Black Back. I love watching gulls.

    1. The Great Black-back Gull is anti-social, it gobbles up little birds, and their eggs............but I do love them.

  3. They are everywhere, but make good photos.I am off to Cornwall again soon and will be seeing a lot of these well walking the coast path.

  6. Superb set of photos, Bob! I'm way behind on my posting and commenting, but I try to check in on the blogs every couple days. I'll be home on the 17th. Been been baby-sitting a 1-year old and a 3-year old (my daughter's two children). She's a school teacher and her husband had to fly to Florida for a week to a coach's clinic.

    And i saw, in Holland ,the gulls are double in size than us!!So big indeed!!!
