Bob, nice ones! We have a couple of these guys in our yard all the time. Never used to see them, but seems they are expanding their range to include our part of the world!
coo-COO-coo, coo-COO-Coo, coo-COO-coo,... ;-) You took again my favourite dove, Bob! Next to its song coo-COO-coo, repeated many times, it also makes a harsh loud screeching call lasting about two seconds, particularly in flight just before landing. A rough way to describe the screeching sound is hah-hah. I wish you a great weekend, Bob, I'm going to make a short break from blogging, see you soon!
