Ringed Plover [Charadrius hiaticula]

It was a damp early morning, but it was nice and beautiful day. The Ringed Plover didn't mind sharing it's place.

  2. Plovers I know from the German North Sea coast as well. Especially in winter time they come from Scandinavia or Siberia to the much milder North Sea coast to hibernate. I'm not sure if I observed them in summer time as well there...
Tomorrow our summer should come back to southern Germany - let's wait and see - we've had a lot of rain within the recent days.
    Uwe.
