Male Kestrel [Falco tinnunculus]

I took these at the International centre of the Birds of Prey, it was so easy. I have been going so many times, I can't missed it.

  18. Sometimes it's just perfect to visit a place like this, Bob, isn't it! It's the only way of seeing these fabulous birds in close- up, and you can see the intelligence shining out of their eyes. Beautifully photographed!

    Obviously it was a little hot during your shooting, I assume that's the reason the kestrel lifts his wings...
