Mandarin ducklings [Aix galericulata]

The Great Crested Grebe was on the boating pond again, but that was yesterdays news. Today was a troop, [five] of Mandarin ducklings. Lovely to watch.

  1. those ducklings are precious... my daughter and i saw some ducklings yesterday at our local park. they were eating on some cheerios... mama duck didn't much like the other birds coming around her babies either. she protected her young quite well. hope all is well. have a great day~

  16. It's surprising how similar a lot of ducklings are when they are small, and how different they look as adults! Well captured.
