Chaffinch making her nest, later than sooner

I was riding my scooter when, there before me was a Chaffinch, picking up things to make it's nest. She must have lost her nest, and now was enough time to build another home.
This was taken with my Canon EOS 5D mark 11.

    1. I think that the 5D maybe, but I had bought 500mm f/L lens, therefore, the 7D camera is the one.

  3. Also in Britain it's a bit late for chaffinches to build their nests, so you should be right by assuming this finch has lost its first nest and clutch. Or: it's already the second time for the finch to breed this year???
I love the songs of the male chaffinches in spring - their are among the first to chirrup in the early spring sun!
