I was riding my scooter when, there before me was a Chaffinch, picking up things to make it's nest. She must have lost her nest, and now was enough time to build another home.
Also in Britain it's a bit late for chaffinches to build their nests, so you should be right by assuming this finch has lost its first nest and clutch. Or: it's already the second time for the finch to breed this year??? I love the songs of the male chaffinches in spring - their are among the first to chirrup in the early spring sun! Uwe.
Lieber Bob, die kleinen Buchfinken sind meine Lieblingsvögel. Hoffentlich ringt sie ihr Nest noch fertig für die 2. Brut. Einen guten Start in die neue Woche wünscht Irmi
Great, I like the full frame that the 5D II gives.
ReplyDeleteI think that the 5D maybe, but I had bought 500mm f/L lens, therefore, the 7D camera is the one.
Deletehij staat er geweldig op.
