Australian Wood Duck or Maned Goose (Chenonetta jubata)

Raining again today, and that means, MAGIC BAG time. 
The Australian Wood DuckManed Duck or Maned Goose (Chenonetta jubata) is a dabbling duck found throughout much of Australia.

  11. Familiar territory here. They used to nest in the pot plants at the office complex I worked in - and brightened each and every day. Thanks for the capture - and the Mary Poppins bag never ceases to surprise - and amaze.

  19. Superbe photo qui met en valeur la " robe " de ce canard. Ce que je ressens aussi dans ta photo, c'est la douceur de l'instant, la quiétude et la paix de cet animal qui prend le temps de vivre et c'est très beau. Dans ta prochaine vie, tu mérites de revenir en oiseau et tu auras aussi, beaucoup d'amis.
