Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia)

From summer 2013.I took this one down at Slimbridge WWT, it had been there 2 weeks, but it flew on. It wasn't one of my best, because it has the sun to right side, very bad!!!!!!!

  2. The last one is a wonderful shot. It's a place I should visit but I doubt it welcomes dogs.

  6. Impressive looking bird! I have never seen one of these. It's so hard to photograph white birds in bright sunlight.

  7. Gratulation, Bob,

The bird is pretty, and I admire him most for his unusual beak. Yours.

  17. I'd be pleased with any of these Bob - a bird just doesn't understand about quite where you'd like them to stand .... or land do they?! I like the yin/yan, light/shade thing happening
