It is a tiny little bird that it's name in latin is one of the largest. Of course, they had to lengthen its use by two. It could have been:- Troglodytes troglodytes troglodytes troglodytes troglodytes troglodytes.
Ha, ha, troglodytes - there is a song about troglodytes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNS42Na2mpc! Not as lovely as the wren with the same name, but quite funny and funky! :-)
Cannot get enough of these little ones. Wrens were the first birds that drew me into birding over 30 years ago. I just love them and you have shared some captivating images here Bob~

Beautiful pictures, I think the wren SHOUTS rather than sings. Its a very loud welcome visitor to our garden.
