Grey Seal (Halichoerus grypus grypus)

This one was taken up in the Shetland Isles.
  • Grey seals live in cold-temperate coastal regions on both sides of the north-Atlantic, and some populations are expanding.

  20. HI Bob I love seals. We sea them here in our water. They are so adorable and these are great shots. We would call these ones Common seals. Our Grey seals have longer noses.

  21. Buenas fotos de esa foca. Estos animales siempre me dan la impresión de que tienen cara triste. Un saludo,

  22. Fabulous pictures, Bob, but am not surprised! Our seals don't let you get too close so photo opportunities are quite limited for us non-professional photographers!! I'll just have to be satisfied looking at yours!!
