These photos are excellent, Bob. The little one is so cute. I love it. I think it is not an easy bird to photograph. I tried several times but the black color is difficult to catch. And besides it is a very shy bird. Really well done. Greetings, Joke
What perfect timing for you to share these great birds Bob. I had a dream last evening that there were some Moorhens visiting one of the ponds near me. When I awoke, I thought that to be impossible, and as I drove past where the dream had been, I actually looked this morning to see if they were there. Nope, but there they are on your post. Happy week~
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", some would certainly say. But look at those black feathery little balls with the funny colored beaks! I think they are the sweetest things - and mama IS pretty! :-) You are such a good photographer Bob!!!!!!
Esos pequeños polluelos, con sus plumas incipientes que más parecen pelos que plumas, siempre me han causado sensaciones agradables e instinto de protección. Un abrazo,

ReplyDeleteNot the most beautiful I would say but no doubt the camouflage comes in handy when a predator is trying to find you.
