He's still a handsome boy. A few people every year have remarked about the eclipse mallards.. not realizing what's going on with them and assuming there are only females hanging around all of a sudden. But when the sunlight hits their heads, you can still see which ones are the drakes. Lovely shots, Bob.

Hi Bob These are wonderful shots of the Mallards. Like Tex, I would have thought that the ducks were females apart from the first shot which is obviously a male. Margaret
