Jackdaw (Corvus monedula)

It is HOT, phew, even I am too hot,...................over 30°c. I think it is time for air conditioning, the best place would be in my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Bob, what a great close-up. I also saw this Jackdaw in a Spanish blogger's site and learned about this one. Its eyes are irresistible! They do not breed in the U.S. but are considered "accidental" in the U.S.. The other corvid in the U.S. is the Corvus ossifragus or "Fish Crow". What eyes!

    The Jackdaw (Corvus monedula) in the second picture is also warm, the beak is open.
    Photos are perfectly exposed and focused properly, compliment.

    he has nice eyes and little whiskers growing over his beak!? i wonder if they get in the way when he's eating.

  29. Hi Bob...I hate it hot and humid drains the life out of ya!! We have been having those 100 degree days, and I have thought an air conditioner,but I probably won't !! Then it rains and get even more humid yuck! We are never happy!! : )
