Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea)

I was sitting in my car, which I do quite often, when the Grey Wagtail paid me a visit. It didn't stay long, which is their way.

  2. What a lovely bird to see from the car Bob. I haven't seen one for a while. Lovely photos.

The male Garganey photos on the previous post are stunning!! The views of the one I once had were far more distant.

  22. Bob, thank you for your sweet compassion!
I'm with the Ambulance to the hospital after my husband called 112, they were quickly on the spot where I was with my camera!
I asked whether I can continue shooting and the cardiologist they just enjoy that's a good thing for a man!!
Now just calm down, of course!

  23. Beautiful shots of this lovely bird Bob. It's not an easy bird to photograph! I have taken a few of the Yellow Wagtail myself this year, but they are much more distant, and as soon as I get anywhere near enough to take a better shot, they fly several metres away each time:( Such a tease!!
